Mr. Ken Robins did not charge for his services, but wanted to auction off the hive to the highest bidder, with the money going to help Community Baptist Church do some needed repairs on the building. The auction will be held virtually August 5-7, ending at 8pm Saturday evening. The winner will be announced August 8. All bids should be sent via email to riverheadbaptist@gmail.com. The Patch will do a follow-up story on the winning bidder and the hive’s new home.
