We regret to announce the passing of Verna M. Campbell, 90, on May 16, 2023 at 12:45 PM. A visitation will take place on Friday, May 19, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Community Baptist Church: 5267 Sound Ave Riverhead, NY 11901. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM, following the visitation. There will be a procession to Riverhead Cemetery immediately following.

Built In 1904, this beautiful building is a true piece of Riverhead history. We are proud to call this property “home” and look forward to preserving it while also bringing new life through its vibrant, growing members.

We will be traveling to Open Door Bible Baptist Church in Queens, NY to assemble 5,000 John & Romans with a custom cover for Community Baptist Church. These John & Romans will be used for outreach and ministries here at Community Baptist Church.

Following our 11 o’clock worship service Community Baptist Church will be having a fellowship dinner.
